Lauren Primmer, President, Member of the Board of Directors
Lauren Primmer Lauren holds a degree in Psychology and Sociology. She has served as a Principal employee and Founder for several PCB design companies in our industry for the past 25+ years. With the experience of her past positions as the Operations Manager Lauren has the depth of knowledge to get the job done on time with the highest quality. Lauren was a founder and principal of Mosher Design Services that was acquired by Praegitzer Industries and a founder in e2E Corporation that was acquired by Plexus Corporation. She has extensive experience in technical operations with a reputation for being a great communicator and an efficient, knowledgeable designer. Lauren possesses the necessary skills to direct the operations of Freedom CAD, with primary emphasis on streamlining operations and implementing technical and cost-saving alternatives.
Louis Primmer, Chairman of the Board of Directors
Louis Primmer Lou has extensive experience in the Printed Circuit board service business stemming from a firm foundation of electro-mechanical design and PCB design layout in his earlier career. He has founded and managed several successful businesses over the past 30 years in this industry. Lou was a partner and founder in Alternate Circuit Design Technologies in 1985. He was a principal owner in Mosher Design Services 1995, a founder of e2E Corporation in 2000 and Co-founder in FCS in 2003. Through the transition (merges and acquisitions) of these companies Lou held positions in manufacturing companies associated with design at Praegitzer Industries and Plexus Corporation as senior design manager where he developed a better understanding of DFM. Lou’s current responsibilities at Freedom CAD Services, Inc. are business development, executive planning and financial stability of FCS.
James (Eddie) Broyles, JR., CEO
Eddie Broyles Eddie brings over 30 years of experience in the Electronics Design Industry and has spent the last 16 years holding management positions responsible for Hardware Design, PCB Design, and DFx services. Before coming to FCS, Eddie held several leadership positions that ranged from Design Services Manager to his most recent position as Director of Engineering with Solectron Corporation. His responsibilities included managing the staff and the business P&L for Solectron’s Americas regional engineering teams that consisted of Hardware Development, PCB Layout, Test Development, and DFx Services. Previous to Solectron, Eddie spent 16 years in the OEM design business with Texas Instruments and Sperry Unisys.
Scott Miller, COO
Scott Miller Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to FCS with over 25+ years in the electronics industry. His background includes various responsibilities with DuPont/Berg Electronics (now FCI), Litton/Winchester and Teradyne Connections Systems. Scott has developed an impressive skill set including Global Account Management, Sales Management and Product Marketing. Previous responsibilities at Teradyne included Project Manager, sales and marketing of the design, fabrication and testing of leading edge Backplane systems including PCB design, interconnection and power distribution systems. His knowledge extends to several areas of manufacturing including connector and EMS assembly. In addition, he has assisted in the development and deployment of a number of leading edge, high performance interconnect products.
Don Duncan, CTO
Don Duncan Don has over 30 years in the electronics industry. His background includes industrial controls and design automation solutions designing products with DSP and embedded processors while working for Texas Instruments. He also has experience in the CM business working for Solectron Corporation. Assignments included improvement of manufacturing test processes, managing a New Product Introduction manufacturing line that supported existing and new customers, and creating a design team that worked as an extension of the customer’s engineering team. His experience also includes high speed signal design designing products with OC192 and Infiniband technologies.
Nicole Motika, Director of Finance
Nicole has over 10 years of financial experience with in-depth knowledge of GAAP reporting and process management of accounting systems. She holds a BA in Accounting & Finance and a MBA with a concentration in Project Management. She has past experience in positions requiring major responsibilities for financial reporting with companies made up of several investment entities which consisted of several hundreds of million dollars worth of assets. She also has experience in international accounting from working for Enigma. She founded a company called Profit Margin, in NH, which provides consulting and accounting services. She was nominated in 2007 for a Service Champion Award for outstanding performance and dedication. She was also a nominee for the Unsung Hero award in 2008. In addition to holding the position of Director of Finance for Freedom CAD Services, she serves on the Board of Directors and is the Treasurer for Children’s Tree of Life, a nonprofit organization.
