Freedom CAD is celebrating our twentieth anniversary and we are expanding our Engineering Services with a new emphasis on Electronic Product Development. We have 30+ designers and engineers and sell nationwide with offices in the Northeast, Southeast and West Coast.
JOB PURPOSE
Senior Sales Manager in charge of all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales for the Company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
- Member of the Company’s Senior Executive Staff.
- Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
- Establishes performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
- Oversees all hiring, training and firing of personnel involved in Sales.
- Manages Representative Network.
- Develops, or participates with the Senior Staff, in the development of the Strategic Sales Plan and AOP for the Company.
- Directs department to achieve objectives established in the Company’s Strategic Plan.
- Coordinates sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company.
- Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the Company.
- Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.
- Monitors A/R aging on a proactive basis with Sales personnel and coordinates with Finance Department.
- Works with the Senior Management team to develop and manage sales/marketing operating budgets
- Meets with key clients, assisting Sales Representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Analyzes and controls expenditures of department to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Prepares monthly sales report showing sales volume, SAM/TAM and areas of proposed client base expansion.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Education:
- Required: Ten years of experience in Technical Services Sales and/or Sales Management.
- Preferred: BA, MBA, BSME, BSEE, or BSEET degree
Experience:
- Required: A minimum of ten years of Sales or Sales Management experience in the electronics industry, including Technical Services, Electronic Product Development, PCB design, fabrication and manufacturing
- Preferred: Proven Record of Growth in Technical Services Sales.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Required: CRM Tools, Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred: ZOHO Experience
